Swimming Lessons

Mike and Julie

mikeandjulie1.jpgKristie,

This proves swimming lessons are imperative for little kids living in an outdoor environment like Central Oregon.

Amanda got in over her head in a tide pool at the coast and was underwater in less than a second with 4 adults close by.

Kristie has worked miracles with our daughter Payton in the water. Payton started taking swimming lessons with Kristie when she was 4 years old. Payton was fearful of the water, so much so that she would not even put her face in the water. Payton has been with Kristie for almost one year now and has been taking lessons two to four times a month.

Our six year old daughter has been taking swim lessons from Kristie during the past 12 weeks and in that short amount of time, we’ve seen a huge improvement in her overall confidence and skill level in the water. The one on one instruction received has helped to ease her fears of the water and Kristie’s patience and teaching technique used for young children really focuses not only on the necessary basic swimming skills needed, but also on safety and survival skills that can be used when a child gets scared in the water.

I like Kristy because she never yells at me. After swimming she lets us get a wishing stone and drop it in her indoor pond, and she gives us sparkly stickers. She lets us have free time. Looking for a calm swimming teacher? Go to Kristy.

Kristy is a wonderful swimming teacher. If you are looking for a swimming teacher that is nice and calm, go to Kristy. Kristy will be the swimming teacher that your kid will love. Kristy gives you a wishing stone after you have gone swimming. You get to throw it in the indoor pond.

High Desert Oasis is awesome! As an adult learning to swim for the first time, I was both nervous and humbled as I approached Kristie at the front door of the pool. Right away she was so warm and welcoming and made me feel at ease. Then I entered into the "Oasis" and thought, "now this is my kind of swimming lesson!" The facility is amazing... So beautiful and tranquil. (It really is like a day spa for the athlete!) I immediately began to relax.

Swim lessons have really paid off. Tenley has been a little waterbug on our vacation. She's even diving to the bottom to get her dive sticks. We were helping her at first but than she'd dive under and use her arms and legs to get to the bottom. YAY!! She loved playing in the waves in Port Aransas too.
